Use body intelligence and mental fitness to reach your goal.
How it Works.
We can’t just think our way to peak performance and reaching our goals. We have to take action towards them as well.
We have to feel and think differently to create lasting changes that bring about new results.
When our thoughts and movement patterns align we engage our full body intelligence and we get results faster.
Our thought patterns are woven into our movements, meaning we need to align new thoughts with new actions. This creates lasting change.
Thinking or feeling differently to change our outcomes requires us to move differently as well.
Results
My Core Values.
A top priority when working with both individuals and groups. Clear boundaries will be set out in advance to understand expectations regarding all information shared within our sessions.
confidentiality
Clear communication is a priority for me within the coaching process. I value the partnership between us and I’ll work to make sure the process is intentionally set out with purpose and structure.
Clarity
No goal, challenge or desire is considered ‘not good enough’ My inspiration is watching you thrive to your chosen desire. My clients have diverse needs and backgrounds and all are equally valued.
Respect
I have extensive knowledge in personal development but always do my research and provide referrals if any area is not within my scope of expertise. I rely on clients to be honest with me regarding their needs and situations so the appropriate referrals can be made if necessary.
Integrity
A Bit About Me.
When I was 6 years old my parents brought me to downtown Toronto, for the first time I saw the big bright lights of the city. There’s a song lyric by Alicia Keys that mentions a “concrete jungle where dreams are made of”. This inspired and excited me that there was something bigger out there to dream about. From that day forward, I never looked back. I knew (as much as a 6 yr old could), that I wanted to move to the city and build a business when I grew up. That’s exactly what I did!
It sure wasn’t a linear journey though. Who I am today, came as a result of learning and growing as I transitioned through careers over the years.
The journey began in my hometown, where I had a chance to work with high performance track and field athletes. What I didn’t know was how impactful working with young driven athletes would influence my choice of career today.
Why Mindset & Performance?
After achieving university & college degrees in science, psychology and massage therapy I began the journey of opening my first clinic. I continued my studies in sports nutrition, meditation, movement for pain, healing through understanding the nervous system and stress response.
Admittedly I learned the knowledge quickly but the practice of my learning took much longer. Over 27 years of clinical practice, engaging with several therapists all innovative in their field of expertise I had incredible opportunities to learn and grow in areas of both hands on massage treatments, reflective thought and coaching practices.
What I know, is that our world of dreams & ambitions are as big as we want them to be. Everything is achievable if you take action. Confidence begins with courage to make the decision to act.
What I have come to learn is that innovative thinking requires creative, calm decision making. I have always appreciated thinking big and leaning in on new ideas, but I also had to learn how to communicate, execute those ideas effectively and learn to trust myself.
My career has now come full circle. I think back to the unbridled intensity and focus of the young athletes I worked with had. They had grit and a vision of winning that drove them to practice with fierce determination. Measuring success in seconds and patience.
